The Chunky Knitwear Edit
I love a good chunky knit. Don’t you? It is such a winter staple as you can pair it so easily with a pair of jeans or skirt. This knit from Assembly label is such an easy piece that you can just throw on before walking out the door. The price point is pretty good for what it is and the wool-blend material is soft and definitely not scratchy. I am often drawn towards warm camel and autumnal colours like this one which is a nice shade of aubergine. If you like that chunky knit look, feel free to browse through some high-street options down below

For that extra bit of added warmth I often wear my Uniqlo HeatTech Extra Warm Scoop Neck T-Shirt. I have about 5 of these in white and black (all in the size XS) which I wear on rotation. Check it out via the link here. They often go on sale so make you sure you snap up a few as they are such value for money!
I usually like the half tucked in look for a more flattering silhouette. This time I have paired it with my faux leather skirt from Free People , such a good find from the Black Friday’s sale last year at Macy’s Hawaii. I have worn this a ton since I got it as it is pretty comfortable even on a long day out and yet not too stretchy. I shy away from shiny leather as I prefer the more crinkled leather look that gives a more vintage vibe
Every girl needs a pair of leather ankle boots. Comfortable ones. These boots from Wittner are made for walking. I work long hours and wear closed shoes all the time and as a result I do have pretty sore bunions on both feet. These Alsa boots are the solution to my wide feet problem. The block heel is a great addition to give me the extra elevation without compromising on cramped up toes at the end of the day. There are some great alternatives below from TheIconic, Revolve and many online retailers to choose from. Of course there are some faux leather options that do not break the bank as much. However I do find cost per wear is better with the leather ones as they are generally softer and more durable.

This Gucci Marmont bag has been on my wishlist for the longest time. The colour is the perfect nude shade with a hint of blush pink. My type of colour. It is sold at different online retailers under different names such as porcelain rose, antique rose and nude. I got it in the size small which I find that is the most versatile size. It fits a lot, definitely more than my Chanel Classic Flap which has similar dimensions. The best thing about it is that it can be worn in 3 different ways easily- crossbody, double or single-strapped on the shoulder. I know that I will be using this bag a lot in the near future. One minor caveat though, if you prefer a more structured look on a bag, this might not be for you as I believe this bag may lose its shape overtime if is not stuffed well when not in use.
So what do you think about rocking the chunky turtleneck knitwear look this winter season? If any of you own the Gucci Marmont bag, I’d be interested to know how it is holding up for you . Let me know your thoughts and hope you enjoyed this post. See you next time!
