Matcha goodness at Cafe Oratnek

Cafe Oratnek

A place that satisfies your every matcha need. This place is actually famous for their pork katsu sandwich and karaage chicken sandwich (takes 15 minutes waiting time) but I was not too impressed after a couple of tries . For the pork katsu sandwich ,if you are not a big fan of mustard…I recommend giving it a pass . Karaage vs pork katsu = I would choose karaage.

Another tip is to definitely come early. 11 am the latest, to beat the 12 pm crowd. Service is quick and we were done just after 12 pm . So thumbs up for that !

I am going to make this blog post short and sweet. Now , onto what I got my tastebuds during this lovely Sunday morn brunch.

Crispy tasty lotus chips

Obviously that matcha french toast was such a stunner ..both in taste and presentation. It’s a dish that’s best to share.

I have visited this place twice so far and Oratnek does not disappoint. Attentive service and definitely authentic Japanese. Would make another trip there again when I need that strong dose of matcha everything.
Signing off tonight 🙂
